Maliwan seemed like they needed some automated death balls so I did some concepts and it made it in to the game. Was fun designing these and I'm glad how well they fit in with the rest of the Maliwan army. I had a lot of fun figuring out how they pieced together and what those pieces would look like. It was a great exercise in design, patience, and seeing a concept through to the end. I originally wanted these things to be massive and patrol the skies of Promethea but instead a whole slew of Deathsphere's was created in different sizes and roles which is also pretty cool.
